Norfolk Energy Performance Certificates can also facilitate the production of New Build EPC's, On-Construction EPC's,and Commercial EPC's via a small network of local, trusted professionals who work directly to produce accurate and professional documentation to allow you to progress with your sale.
New homes, marketed off-plan (before they are built), will have had SAP* calculations completed, to show how they comply with the Building Regulations.
Then, before a completion certificate can be issued, a full Energy Performance Certificate must be obtained by the person responsible for the construction.
This type of EPC must be done by a qualified SAP Assessor and will probably be the person who carried out the calculations for the design.
*SAP stands for the Standard Assessment Procedure and involves a full set of calculations for the new property. RdSAP stands for Reduced Data SAP and is the method used by Domestic Energy Assessors to produce EPCs for existing properties. |
